4 /5 Bella Bella: We recently visited a new Mexican restaurant for Father’s Day lunch and were the only customers at the time, which made for a quiet dining experience. I suspect they get busier in the evenings, or perhaps not everyone has discovered this spot yet.
We had nachos, ordering one with chicken and the other with vegetables. Both were incredibly tasty, and I particularly appreciated that the cheese and flavor were evenly distributed throughout every layer, not just on top—a common issue with nachos elsewhere. The vegetable nachos featured a great mix of capsicum, onion, mushroom, broccoli, and zucchini, adding a nice variety of textures and flavors.
We did ask for no beans, but still got beans - lucky we have no allergies, we just don’t like them, so picked them off.
The chimichanga was a decent size, served with rice and pico de gallo on the side, making for a satisfying meal.
The quesadillas, which came in four generously filled tortilla triangles were another dish that didn’t disappoint.
The restaurant has a front dining area with a bar and a back section, with the toilets conveniently located between the two. Service was friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. This place is definitely worth a try, especially if you’re a fan of Mexican cuisine.
Not sure if there’s a surcharge on Sundays as it cost us an extra $8+ than what it comes to based on the menu prices. If this is the case then a note to make people aware would be great.
