D House Cafe 糖潮茶餐廳 - VIC

Regan Sebastian First time dinning at this lovely cafe, vast majority of customers speak Cantonese Which is always a good sign for authenticity. Tasty food and attentative service, we had a great time, delicious food, whilst we waited longer than expected but the young man who covers both concierge and serving customers gone above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and satisfied.

East Alley Dumpling and Beer - VIC

Barry Foster We like to drop in for traditional dim sum and Chinese dishes. The food we order is always good and tasty. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant is clean. We like sitting in the booths, a cosy atmosphere.

YOMG Doncaster - VIC

Camille Madronio The servings here are huge! The burger was tasty — the patty was juicy and flavorful, blending perfectly with the fresh, crisp lettuce. The fries came topped with generous bacon bits, adding an indulgent crunch. We paired everything with shakes, which felt a bit heavy alongside the burger and fries but still delicious. Overall, the portions are very filling - so much so we couldn’t even finish everything. A great spot if you’re looking for a satisfying, over-the-top burger experience in Melbourne.

Little Bun Bun - VIC

Jasmine Ma 皮薄湯肉多,$17.xx for 6 very high quality Shanghainese pan fried dumplings, full of soup in thin dough, meaty and crunchy bottom. I have tried both their city and Doncaster shop, this is less salty and faster service. Original and veggie meat is the recommendation.

吉祥春饼·烤鸭 JiXiang Peking Duck - VIC

Leonard Khoo The food is so good here. You will want to book as it was pretty much booked out, we were crammed into a small table next to the bar/register. We had the half duck with an extra dish, duck was slightly overcooked but the Peking duck was great overall, the soup was nice and homely, the salt pepper duck bones was pretty tasty also. The duck egg yolk fried prawns were absolutely delicious, and the green beans with sliced pork was really tasty and delicious. Highly recommend this place for the food, they must have a really good chef(s)/cook(s) in the back. The service is inconsistent, the front guy is really friendly and some wait staff are really nice, some not so much. However the foods is good enough to forgive these little things.

Thai Eat Restaurant (Doncaster East) - VIC

Dada Very cute and friendly staff! Authentic Thai food, love it! Chill vibe. A very lovely dinner here. Have Tom Yum Soup (must try), Thai Milk Tea (always order in every Thai restaurant), Green Curry (a bit spicy but I like it), and Pad Thai. Highly recommend Tom Yum Soup! Ordered a large one for 3 people to share.

Yue Taste - VIC

Siva Narayanan I did not want to review this place and shine light on this hidden gem. But this is one amazing place the spicy chicken noodles and the vegetable dumplings are amazing. The spiciness is perfect and the portion size perfect for the night. Did not expect this off the road place to taste this good. Will definitely come back again.

Laksa Village - VIC

Peter Koh Highly recommend Laksa Village CNY menu, one of the best that we have tasted, the Lo Yu Shang was generous and tasty with lots of salmon pieces and delicious salad with sauces well made and not too sweet, the crab meat soup was delicious and very tasty and generous, the lobster ginger noodles was so fresh and delicious and quite a young lobster with lots of meat and the shell was so soft that our teeth were able to sink into its shell to get at the generous wholesome and tasty meat and not overcooked, the glutinous rice in lotus leaf was one of the best we have tasted, full of flavour and ingredients , the Murray Cod fish was so fresh and big, it has to be the highlight of the CNY menu. The Yam basket with scallops was wonderful with scallops so tender and yam so smooth that it melts in your mouth. The Pork Hork dish with fish maw , Abalone and mushroom have to be the second highlight of the menu, it looked and tasted heavenly. Service with a smile from Ann, Sylvia and staff are the best, ever so hardworking, and always ready to meet your expectations under pressure without complain. Highly recommend Laksa Village CNY menu for one last Lo Hei to end CNY of the Fire Horse before the CNY celebrations end, you will not regret.

Dumpling Village - VIC

Mandie L. I ate the dumplings here today and they were delicious. The chilli oil sauce they put it in tasted amaaazing - it had the perfect blend of sweetness, sourness and saltiness. My fiancé tried the char siu bao and said it tasted pretty good. The bun was nice and soft and the filling was flavourful. I wasn’t expecting much from a food court stall, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the food here.
