Monty Cafe & Restaurant - VIC

Kasey Adams Such a lovely experience. The food was great, we got the chicken burger and club sandwich (pictured). We accidentally knocked over a glass and they were so attentive and brought us a replacement on the house. Amazing staff, great price. Will be coming again.

Urban Grooves - VIC

Adam Beautiful place in the heart of Greensborough. Breakfast, lunch and even dinner specials. Never misses a beat! Service is attentive but not too much. Give it a shot! Coffee is spot on too.

Small Plates - VIC

Joyce K Lovely cozy place for lunch or dinner. The food had amazing flavours, loved everything we ordered. The best dish of the night was the flame grilled calamari. Wow, it was so tender and melting in the mouth, the special sauce was a sweet one and it goes so well with the calamari. The white anchovies on Turkish bread had good flavours, if only there were more white anchovies and it would have been amazing. The organic veal meatballs were quite decent in size, came with nacho chips on top and bread on the side. The prawn taco was delicious but on the expensive side. Overall great service, they even offered to pack our leftovers in a takeaway box. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Mercers Restaurant - VIC

Jessie Goddard Mercer’s is one of the longest running restaurants in Melbourne, opened in 1997 - and for good reason. It is our very favourite restaurant, and we love going there to celebrate special occasions. Steve Mercer and his wife, and indeed their whole team, take great pride in their restaurant. We can never find fault with anything.and we are always made to feel welcome, right from when we step in the door to when we leave. In a lovely old home in Eltham, with its own carpark. White tablecloths to add to the lovely ambiance, plus tasteful decorations, and carpet to ensure the restaurant is quiet. Steve is an artist and all of his dishes are amazingly presented. As well as just so tasty. His latest dessert is of the real wow factor and looks just like a Japanese garden.and it tasted amazing. I’m already looking forward to our next visit.

Mabel Jones - VIC

John Bourke We often go to Mabel Jones. It’s a local family run business with a very good name around the Greensborough area. But this time it was absolutely next level. Mainly because of the outstanding service we received from Vicky. Everything was absolutely perfect. Brekky was the best I have had. My guests were all blown away. All for under $100 for 3 people. Thanks Vicky. I have joined the loyalty program on line and we make another booking for early next week. Regards John Bourke

Franco & Co - VIC

Holiday li Franco & Co in Eltham is clearly a local favourite — I probably wouldn’t have known about it if not for a friend’s recommendation. The restaurant was almost entirely filled with locals, and it’s easy to see why it holds such a high rating. The dishes we ordered were all enjoyable, and importantly, not overly salty — which suits my taste perfectly. The handmade pizza stood out. The crust had those beautiful charred spots, thin and crisp on the outside while staying moist and soft inside. Topped generously with mixed meats and cheese, it was incredibly satisfying while still hot. The prawn pasta was solid and comforting. The flavour profile had a slightly familiar touch that I think many Asian diners would appreciate. Portions were generous and filling. The classic tiramisu was balanced and not overly sweet. I personally would have preferred a slightly stronger coffee or liqueur flavour. It felt a little pricey, but overall still worth it for the experience. The cozy, cabin-style interior creates a warm atmosphere, and the service was friendly and attentive. For those living in Melbourne’s east, it’s not too far — definitely a spot worth revisiting.

Eos Greek Tavern - VIC

Andrea Cahir I had a lovely meal at Eos on Friday night with my husband. I got the garlic prawns with rice and salad and my husband got the 7 hour slow cooked lamb shank. Both daily specials and both delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back.

Maxs Woodfired Pizza & Burgers - VIC

Elaine Thia Im lucky to live near this establishment, we had many takeaway dinners here during lockdown and more recently been dining in with overseas relatives. Good atmosphere for kids, service could be quicker but understand that they are juggling both takeaway and diners. Food has been consistently good over the years. The Tues and Wed parma and pizza deals can make it quite affordable, too.

The Groove Train Greensborough - VIC

ravindra rathore I was looking for a some place with relaxing ambience and chilled vibe, I ordered the chicken burger, it was nice juicy and filled with flavors, to accompany it I had stone&wood draft. The staff very friendly and helpful, met with the manager Pankaj who was very charming and respectful personal, had made sure the overall experience was well taken care. I would love to come back with my friends and family Thanks guys
