5 /5 Leonard Khoo: Pleasantly surprised here. The food is really good and the staff are all friendly, given I cant speak Cantonese or Mandarin. We had the half roast duck and rice, which was delicious, not too gamey, well cooked. Also has the ngow yuk wat tan chow hor fun (need egg gravy fried flat rice noodles), this was really delicious, the sauce was eggy, flavourful and quite unique to others Ive had in the past, the beef was perfect and the hor fun noodles were thinner than usual, but still great/delicious. The salted egg bao was also very yummy, no complaints. The meal was also very affordable for the amount we ordered (& the quality). Definitely an underrated local gem.

4 /5 Valyn White: Surprisingly good food. The pork was excellent as was the roast duck. Very surprising for what I thought was a very unassuming restaurant. The main things were still the service and the atmosphere. Service with a smile is something no one has taught any of the wait staff. Two large tables behind us were so loud we couldnt hear the person next to us. Restaurant staff noticed but did nothing to rectify the situation. I saw many tables give up on trying to have any sort of normal conversation. Some poor kid held his hands over his ears for 30 minutes. To give you some idea, 90db from about 3m away is like having a law mower running at full speed. Try eating next to that...

5 /5 Karine Yong: Went to dinner in this restaurant, not expecting much but I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality and authenticity of the food here. At a time when most of the Hong Kong Chinese Restaurants are few and far between, it is refreshingly pleasant to discover an old style restaurant reminiscent of the good old days with traditional HK cuisine. The service was also excellent, the wait staff was very attentive and polite. Prices of the food was also reasonable at $30 a head for the items we ordered. Another point was that I did not experience a dry throat due to MSG after my meal. So all in all, this is a very good restaurant nestled in a cosy shopping spot in Donvale. An worthwhile experience.
