2 /5 Fulya Gulec: Very disappointing experience overall.
The eggplant dip was the biggest issue — it had a heavy, fermented smell and an off, overly soft taste, which strongly suggested it was not fresh. For a $5 charge for a tiny 70ml portion, this is completely unacceptable. It tasted as if it had started fermenting, which raises serious concerns about freshness and food safety. I’ve attached a photo for reference.
The meat arrived cold and dry, which made it unpleasant to eat.
The chips, however, were fresh and nicely seasoned — probably the best part of the order.
Both Pepsi bottles were warm, clearly not stored in a fridge, which is disappointing when ordering takeaway.
The pita bread was soft and decent, but at $4.90 each, the size does not justify the price.
The lokmades were delicious and definitely hit the spot — a highlight of the meal.
Overall, this place really needs to ensure food is fresh, monitor fridge temperatures, and review portion sizes vs pricing. At these prices, customers expect proper storage, safe food handling, and hot meals.
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t order again unless these issues are addressed.
