Tiger & Lisa - Food VIC

Viv Visited Stateline brunch before and found this place to be quite a solid local spot for breakfast and lunch, with a strong Italian cuisine influence. Recently opened their Pasta Bar from Friday to Sundays and decided to give this one a go! Actually really enjoyed the range of dishes we got. The menu is not overly too big but did well in terms of focussing on a few starters, pasta mains and side dishes - can tell they care about the quality of each dish rather than going for serving absolutely everything. We ordered: - garlic focaccias with antipasto - polpette ai sugo - spaghetti carbonara - eggplant parmagiana - squid ink pasta w/ prawns - caprese salad (with burrata) - rocket, pear & rocket salad - tiramisu apart from the carbonara which is naturally on the salty side, everything else I really enjoyed! highly recommend the squid ink pasta and eggplant parmagiana for mains, and the caprese salad is a must for the side - very refreshing and complimented the pastas really well!

Nisal Wijayasooriya The food was really good and well presented. The crumbed dish was crispy and flavorful, and the sides were fresh and nicely balanced. Drinks were refreshing and paired well with the meal. Overall, the food quality was great and enjoyable. Service could be improved a little, but the food definitely stands out. Would recommend for a good meal.

Clarice Ho After walking out of another restaurant we had originally booked—due to an incredibly uncomfortable and disrespectful experience—we found ourselves at Bounty of the Sun, and it truly saved our night. Despite how busy it was, the hospitality here was absolutely top-notch. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. Special shoutout to Eben for the superb service, and to the waiter who helped us swap things around so we could get a table—we were so grateful, especially after the encounter we’d just come from. The food was exceptional. We especially loved the kingfish sashimi and the grilled butterfish—both so fresh and beautifully balanced. And the tofu cheesecake? Outstanding. My partner was ready to order another one on the spot. The food was delicious, the vibe was relaxed and genuine, and we left feeling cared for and restored. Thank you for reminding us what real hospitality looks like. We’ll definitely be back.

Carrie Lim Strongly recommend this local Italian slice pizzas. Prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. Reasonable price from $10 to $15. The ice coffee is freshly brew is very smooth with less sweet ice cream. The mixed berries tiramisu is fantastic and yummy! The ambience with good vibes. A harmony dining place for a meal with friends and family. Alcohol is available too. The 2 owners (chef) are very friendly and excellent service is provided.

The Third Bite It’s been a while since my visit to Tulum, but the memory of that meal has stayed with me all year. I couldn’t leave it unspoken any longer. Tulum has long deserved recognition every dish feels like a story told through flavour. The golden turmeric-saffron chicken was perfectly crisp and tender, balanced beautifully with earthy greens and subtle spice. The fish, delicate and bathed in a light, aromatic foam, was elegant yet deeply satisfying. Each plate looked like art but tasted like comfort elevated. With its warm service, refined atmosphere, and thoughtful execution, Tulum delivers a dining experience that feels both soulful and sophisticated a true modern expression of Turkish cuisine.

Donna LEE My family visited this place by chance through googling. If you want to try either Korean or Japanese real gourmet dishes, you must visit here! The ingredients were very fresh and all the dishes were such a delight! The staff are super friendly and nice. It was a fantastic experience for us to try a variety of Korean and Japanese dishes in Melbourne.
