Lawson Falls - VIC

Lecsi Lovely fall. The walk is very pretty and pleasant, loads of fungi, and intermittently alongside or over a little stream. Walk is 1.3km according to signage. There are fairly short but regular stretches of inclines and declines, some relatively steep. Not super slippery, but recommend good footwear. It was drizzling and quite wet on the day, and the leeches were out. Was a bit dark and wet for the camera, but Ill definitely be going back on another day for some photography.

Ballarat Wildlife Park - VIC

Alexandra Brewin We had a fantastic day at Ballarat Wildlife Park! It was my daughter’s dream to pat a kangaroo, and it absolutely came true – the animals were so friendly and gentle. The staff were all incredibly kind and clearly love what they do, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The park itself was clean, simple, and very well maintained, and it was great to see how well the animals are cared for. The cafe had a small menu, but the meals and coffee were both really good. Overall, a great experience at a very reasonable price – highly recommended!

Perry Did the wetlands walk which was peaceful and easy to complete. A short 2km loop. We came across flocks of Eastern Rosella and wallabies but sadly no koala sighting. Theres a longer walk and other places to explore so worth another visit.
